Final Design

Here are the final designs, not that much different then before, just added a few minor details.

Color update

Here is an updated version. Still WIP but I'm getting pretty close to done I think. Its hard to get the right material for the level 2 guys armor, rusted and beat up but still with a little specular to it.

WIP Boar guy

Here is an update, I had the flats done for all of them but they just weren't right so I have been spending a while trying to fix them. This guy is the first one that I feel like is getting somewhere I want to be.

A good prez

Found an old painting of George Washington that I did on my hard drive that I remember liking, so this is the follow up! And presidents day was a few days ago so I guess you could say this is for that too.

Boar Monster designs

Finally getting back to the project I started a while back before I got sidetracked by other stuff. I think I want to go a bit more ornate with the level 3 guys helmet but nothing I have tried thus far has really fit.

There is something about Konstantin Pogorelov's art that I really like, just too bad he doesn't update too often. You can see his site here

Blog problems

If you are reading this without getting any warning signs then that's good! Apparently my blog got hacked and I had to completely nuke it and then upload it again.  So anyway I guess if this is all over with i'll get back to posting art.

Bandage Face

This was inspired by another customer that came in to my work the other day. He was dressed in old fashioned clothes, and had a bandage on his nose. He looked like some old school detective that got beat up by some thugs. However he drove away in a PT Cruiser, which kinda ruined the effect..
